Positive opk 4 days before my period is supposed to start?!?!

I've heard that people get a positive opk right before they're supposed to get their periods, and turned out pregnant. I guess it could be an early indicator of pregnancy? ? I need opinions!  Please comment!! Thank you in advance :)

I know all of this. I simply did it as an experiment. And as for the lh surge before your period, my obgyn told me there is no lh surge BEFORE your period. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive, but i thought it was a little early so, im gonna test again in a few days.

No, ovulation tests should not be used as a pregnancy test. Yes, you can get a positive opk while pregnant, but an hpt would be positive well before, and women have LH surges just before AF, so there's no way to know why your opk is positive. Just take an hpt
