1st birthday ideas?

Does anyone have themes or ideas for 1st birthday yet? 
I’m clueless what to do for my son. He doesn’t watch tv or anything so “character theme” like Mickey Mouse or paw patrol doesn’t make sense / isn’t my taste. So I’m looking for ideas.

No theme here , no big party . just simple family time . I don't see the need to go all out for the 1st birthday ,ill save that for once she can tell me what she wants :)

We love Halloween so we're doing a dress up party with family and close friends with basic and cute Halloween decorations. Some "the spooky one" stuff😂

I’m probably just going to go with a colour scheme, or possibly fall themed since her birthday is on canadian thanksgiving. No characters or anything yet.

We are doing fishing themed because that's what we like. I considered doing hurricane themed since we live in NC and it'll be hurricane season and he was born during Hurricane Michael lol

I was going to probably going to do a carnival theme but only because my daughter Turns 6 9/27 his birthday is 9/24 so I’m just combining them 🤷🏾‍♀️ she likes carnivals he likes balloons lol
