Any teachers with tattoos?

I’m currently finishing up my bachelors and starting the credential program. I know every school district is different but if any of y’all are teachers and have tattoos, how has it been for you? I’ve always worn long sleeves or jackets when I student teach or observe so it hasn’t been an issue and have no issue doing that if my future school district is against tattoos!

I have five, visible with short sleeves. One is visible at all times on my collar bone but it’s not crappy looking so it’s fine. Once you get a job just ask about their tattoo policy. A second grade teacher has two full sleeves on his arms and legs and shows them off. It’s almost 2020, tats are kinda the norm now a days 🙂

I am a teacher but don’t have any tattoos. However, many of my coworkers do have them. On their arms, feet, neck, etc. it’s never been an issue at any of the schools I’ve worked at and they have been visible at times to students and parents. 
I assume as long as it’s appropriate/tasteful it shouldn’t be an issue as long as you’re a good teacher.

My husband is a teacher and he and most of his colleagues all have visible tattoos. They are so common now that it’s less and less of an issue. As long as they aren’t offensive or inappropriate then it’s all good.
