When to start opks after a miscarriage?

As the title really - how long after a miscarriage would you start doing opks? Would you wait until after you've had a negative pregnancy test? (I had an ERPC 10 days ago and I'm still getting faint positives) .

I'm not really sure on this one, it's hard because leftover hcg can give you a false positive OPK...that's what I'm dealing with now. I started taking them right after I started bleeding and honestly they were not helpful...positive one day, negative the next, then back to positive. I don't think I actually ever ovulated this cycle. I'm waiting on my first AF now, but if I had it to do over again (and I hope I NEVER do) I wouldn't bother with them and just wing it. My husband and I had fun, but the opk's and pregnancy tests and strange bbt patterns were way too stressful right out of the gate.

I waited to start using opk's until after my first AF after my m/c. I was worried about getting erratic results and I knew that would compound my misery. I just started using them again about a week ago after my first AF and though I have not yet gotten a positive for ovulation, I have not had issues with erratic results. That wait after your m/c for your first AF is excruciating and feels like FOREVER, so I'm sorry you're going through this right now 😞
