I’ve wanted to be a stay at home mom since college. Taking care of the house and the kids is something I truly would enjoy. At the time I knew that couldn’t be a possibility, considering I was in college, still living with my parents, and was no where close to getting married and having kids. So I got my teaching license and became a pre-k teacher. I love being around children and working with them. I love my job but I still feel that my true dream is to be a house wife.

Fast forward 9 years. I met, fell in love and married the man of my dreams. We moved into our own home. We got pregnant 8 months after the wedding but sadly, we lost our angel baby in December 2018. We have both been working non stop and don’t get to spend much time together. We are constantly tired. People we work with and see everyday seem upset, angry, and irate. Bottom line, we aren’t happy with where we live and started to look for other options.

Little did we know that God was listening to us the whole time. My mother in law introduced us to a developing community in upstate NY. We went to check it out and were able to purchase a new home! My cousin in law’s wife told me about an online tutoring company that she works for so that I will be able to quit my job and work from home! I’m almost done with the application process and our home will be ready to move in in the next 5 months! We have sold our current home and moving out next month. My parents are allowing us to live with them until our new home is ready (which will help us save a lot of money)

My husband also just found out that his new job plans on promoting him to a position where I will not have to work in the near future! Everything is finally looking up. All that’s missing is our hopeful rainbow baby. Prayers, fingers crossed, and baby dust that this is our month. But I am so grateful for all the opportunities that will allow us to have the life we always wanted. And I am especially grateful for my amazing husband that is willing to work so hard for us and our families that have given us so much love and support.

UPDATE: we have officially sold our house and are living with my parents. Just waiting for the new house to be constructed. But the biggest news is... 2 weeks after I posted this, I found out I am pregnant with our rainbow baby! I am currently seven weeks and we go in for our first prenatal visit on August 7th. Praying we get to see our little peanut and a strong heartbeat 💗

(The day I found out I am pregnant! I took a test the day before thinking it would be negative since it was still very early but a faint line showed up! The next day, at 9 dpo, the line got darker and 2 digital tests came back positive!)
