Too late to try?

Question

Baby is 7 weeks now. 
I have been formula feeding but want to switch over (attempt to) to breast feeding.
Is it too late to switch over? Meaning the vitamins that breast milk provide aren’t needed anymore since she is no longer newborn and more developed?

Is your milk dried up? It may be hard to get the breast milk back but maybe not impossible. Breast milk is always beneficial to babies so if you are able to get your milk to come back in it will be great for the kiddo even if they are 7 weeks etc. Formula is just fine too though so do not beat yourself up if you cant get it back. Breastmilk is good for even toddlers! Just because your babe isn't a newborn doesn't mean isn't not beneficial for them (and you)! Definantly get in contact with a lactation consultant. There tend to be ones at hospitals and also Facebook groups. Good luck!

Have you been stimulating milk production at all? (Like for example, pumping) How long ago did you last breastfeed or pumped? Depending on those answers could determine if you're able to switch- because of drying up. When you hand express does anything come out? 
I would recommend a lactation consultant, especially depending on how dried up you are.
