How much are HSG tests ?

My dr is making me do it on day 5-9. I’m on vacation u till day 10 so she’s making me wait two more months ( till I get my period and then doing it) But she said it’s normally not covered by health insurance,
So I was wondering about how much It costs?

My HSG, not covered by insurance, was $900.  My biggest frustration was that since I knew it wouldn't be covered, so I called my provider ahead of time to ask for an estimate of what the procedure would cost. I was quoted $750. When I called to complain when I got the bill, they told me tough luck. Welcome to health coverage in America, where not even the people in charge of billing can tell you how much it's gonna cost.

Ask your doctor they should be able to give you the price and get the medical code for it too so you can ask your insurance or have the clinic call your insurance and see if it’s covered
