TMI... I want a baby, but for now I just want my normal periods back!

Savannah

Before my miscarriage in April 2018 I had normal regular periods. Ever 30-32 days and last 5-7 long. After the miscarriage my periods have been lasting so long... 10-20 days of bleeding each month!!! I'm now seeing a different OBGYN than one I had seen for the miscarriage, and I feel like this one really wants to help my husband and I start a family. He put me on 10 days of provera to "hit a reset button", at that time I was on day 13 of my period, and was told I should stop within a couple of days after starting this medication. When it didn't the nurse told me I could bleed the whole time while taking the meds. It still didn't stop! They told me to take another round of provera and that it sometimes takes a couple rounds and to call them if it didn't stop. Well guess what... didn't stop. So this doctor's office staff has been amazing answering my questions and not making me come in for a visit everytime I had a question. (I live in a small town 80 miles away from the new dr.) So long story short (too late. I know. Sorry) I did lab work on Wednesday and have an appointment on July 3rd for a sonogram and doctor visit to discuss results and hopefully find out what the heck is going on! Today is day 41 and I think I hope I've finally stopped having my period. 🤞 My husband and I have been waiting so we can, you know *wink wink* lol! Not to ttc but because 41 days is a LONG time! Sorry you probably didn't want to know that. Oh well
