Perinatal appointment
A little over a month ago I found out that I was being sent to a maternal fetal medicine practice for additional screening due to having developed an antibody that could potentially attack our baby’s blood, making her anemic. I have to have blood drawn monthly to check that my titer is staying low, and as long as that’s the case I don’t have to have crazy monitoring or fetal blood transfusions. We had our anatomy scan/high risk ultrasound today and I’m so relieved baby girl looks perfect! Fingers crossed my bloodwork looks good every month!🤞🏻 She’s such a spunky little thing already. She’ll fit right in with her big brother!
