First appointment??

Question

Am I the only person who hasn’t had an appointment?! I won’t even have my first appointment until I’m 12 weeks. 
I had a miscarriage before and I’m trying so hard to not stress. 
On top of it, January is just my predicted due date. I could actually be 4 weeks less pregnant than they say and it’s stressing me out. 
I feel like I’m missing out on my own pregnancy because I have no idea how many weeks I am and I know nothing. I want to be excited but I’m finding it so hard.

The waiting sucks for sure. I just finally had my first apt last week at 10 weeks and I'm high risk.  One thing about having it later you dont worry and stress about being to soon and having to go back in to see of theres a baby in there that they couldnt find at the first. And they are big and cute. Last one I did at almost 12 weeks. It's horrible wait.

I’ll be 12 weeks when I go for my first ultrasound. It will be my second appt. I went at 8 weeks and do to insurance all
I could get was my yearly pap. And that was it. So they told me to come back at 10 weeks and we could do ultrasound but receptionist scheduled it a month out. So I’ll be 12 weeks when I go. I understand it’s so nerve racking. I personally just want confirmation of a heartbeat. Holding onto to hope and praying hard.

My first appointment will be 14 weeks 5 days if my calculations are correct i am a bit irritated to because of would like a check up to see exactly how far along I am and what is up plus this is my first so 😑😐😒

Is there a private place you could go get an ultrasound? There is a place not far from us called uniquely ultrasound and you can go as early as eight weeks, I think, and pay $40 for an ultrasound and 4 pictures to take home. I’ve had my first appointment and ultrasound, and we really want to tell people 4th of July, but my next appointment is not until after that so we will go get an extra ultrasound and pay $40 just to make sure everything is good before we announce.

I go this Wednesday and I’ll be 10 weeks and 5 days and I feel like this wait is killing me! I don’t feel connected to this baby at all yet. With my son I got an appointment right away at 5 weeks and 6 days.
