Curious... do you think it's weird if you had A name picked out for your miscarried child but then you name your rainbow baby the same name. Whether it's a first or middle name?

I’ve had two losses and each one had names. I’m expecting my third child and I still plan on using the same names. The are family names and I also look at it as the baby will be named after their siblings.

We lost a baby in March at 9wks6d. We didnt know if it was a boy or girl.....so we will still use the same names.

I had names picked and I'm not using them because I feel like it would be naming two of your children the same thing.

That is an old spanish tradition, to name the subsequent child after their sibling who has passed.

My loss was 20 weeks. She had a certificate of live birth. I can’t name another child her name. It just seems wrong to me. Once you know a gender and call a child a name, how could you name your next child the same thing. I don’t know.
