Issues after getting IUD removed?

So I have has my IUD (skyla) our for over a year and have been TTC since then. There is a small bump on my cervix where the IUD used to be. Has anyone else had this happen? Could it be scar tissue or do you think part of the IUD is still in there?

Answer

I had a Skyla and conceived two months after it was removed in April '19. That pregnancy ended in a loss in August '18, then I had a second loss in Feb '19. Now almost 11 weeks along with my third pregnancy and hoping all continues to go well. 
The strings should've been the only thing that went through the cervix's opening, but I'd recommend seeing your OBGYN regardless if you've been trying that long without conceiving.
