Do you ever have a crush just for the fun of it?

I have the tiniest crush on a dr I intern for. He laughs at my jokes and asks me when I’m coming back to visit and just makes me feel all happy. I know he’s an unattainable love interest but it’s just kinda fun to be interested in someone. I would never act on the crush and I know there’s no actual feelings involved. I don’t even want to be in a relationship. It’s just nice to know I’m not defective or am not capable of having these feelings.
