How are you’re cramps and are they as bad as everyone makes them out to be (I’ve never had a cramp before) ?

The first day is HORRIBLE. My cramps last about 5 hours (or more) and essentially reduce me to a ball on the floor. I’m completely fine the next day, though.

I faint because my cramps cause so much pain my body can't handle it and just turn off my brain lol I take Advil and Tylenol but the biggest thing is eating healthy. That effects my period a lot.

Mine used to be very bad but the past year or so they have gotten a bit better. I was put on a higher dosage of Naproxen. But before that nothing would work, I used to not be able to control my body temperature and occasionally faint of it got to bad.

Im crying in the fetal position in bed for the first 2 days of my 7 day periods. I miss school and work. This is after taking the max amount of pain killers throughout the day, a warm bath and a heating pad. Been like that since i was 11 and started getting periods. Im almost 30. Ive told 3 doctors and no one seems to care or want to test me for anything. I think i may have endometriosis based on the pain and heaviness of my periods.
