When did your cycle return after birth?

Comment when and what kept you from having a period especially if over 12 months!

Never got a period after having my son (breastfeeding) and got pregnant again when he was 12 months old. My last period was in 2016! Planning to breastfeed again so I’m thinking next period will be in 2020 lol

My first: breastfed my premie for 6 weeks. Period came back after 4 months. 
My second: breastfed for 4 months, period came back at 8 weeks🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I started working when she was 6 months. I tried to pump but couldn't produce enough that way. So she moved to formula. After about a month of  it breastfeeding anymore my period came back. I had nothing before then.. no spotting etc

Mine came back after I got my iud put in at 6 weeks. Every now and then would totally skip a month. Breastfed for 2.5 years also.

I breastfed until 13mo and then my period didn't return until 17mo PP.
It's different for everyone, your hormones can go pretty out of whack.
