I not back at work yet but we’ve been doing it for six weeks and I don’t see an issue in continuing . Our daycare is fine with them and it’s just an extra load of laundry with an additional 20 minute rinse cycle.

I work 1-2 days per week as a nurse.
I have two in cloth, pockets.
We use disposables at night and when out, and when I’m working the sitter or my husband use disposables.
I find the combination still cuts out diaper budget by at LEAST 50% if not more so it is worth it.
Once you get a laundry system down it’s just second nature.

Honestly it’s mostly about how many diapers you have. Once you commit to cloth diapering it becomes normal. The real kicker is washing and adding the inserts back in. I’m a SAHM and could handle 14 diapers that needed to be washed and folded every other day.  But now that my daughter has grown into a bigger size of diaper that we have 30 of. It’s soooooo much nicer! I wash them when needed but don’t have to build diapers for 3 days which is nice and would probably work better for you guys since you both work.

I went back to work when she was 7 weeks and she came with me till she was 7 months when she started daycare. We’ve been cloth diapering full time and we love it. I wash every few days and stuff them when our babe goes to bed. It takes time and dedication, but so worth it. Hope you figure out what will work best for you and your family!

I love cloth diapering. At the beginning I was scared but when my baby turn 2 weeks my disposable diapers that were given to me finished I did not want to buy more so I decided to just used my cloth diaper stash I had bought. I also use cloth wipes and baby bits solution in a spray bottle is super easy and love it. Its intimidating but its actually pretty easy and fun with all the different types and prints.
