Naming baby something similar to childhood dog?

Growing up we had a dog named Chloe. I'd like to name my daughter Zoe, but I'm afraid it's too close to the name Chloe. (Doesn't personally bother me but I can already hear my family now...). Thoughts?

If its a childhood dog, don’t worry about it.... i am stuck on the name Kayla but that the name of my dog that passed away a few days before I found out i was pregnant... i love the name but I think hormones are getting me stuck on it. Clearly that would be weird to name our baby after this dog😂

Currently, the only name my hubby and I can agree on is Elijah...and our dog’s name is Eli. At least Zoe and Chloe only rhyme and aren’t the same name!

If we were going to have a girl we 100% were going to give her the same name as one of our dogs. No shame and no question about it.

I think you could have sisters named Chloe and Zoe and it would be fine
