You'll want them gone by year 2, but as of right now I'm not concerned as my girls are using sippy cups 90% of the time and only using bottles for morning and night time bottles.

Technically yes but I don't think theres a major rush. We are going away when he is 15 months so 15 months is my target to get rid of the bottles. The main thing for me at the moment is him getting used to the cows milk.
Next stage for us is give him milk in beaker instead of bottle for breakfast and see how he goes with that until beaker of milk for bed

I just switched one weekend a week or so before she turned one. She didn’t notice at all. It’s easier to do it earlier before they form attachments.
