Boyfriend won’t go down on me. Is it okay to say no blowjobs until he tries it?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 8 months and he just won’t go down on me. I’ve been giving him blowjobs for 5ish months and I was so anxious about it because I’ve never done it before, but I knew it would feel good for him, and I do actually like doing it for him.

He hasn’t eaten a girl out before. He says he’s nervous about the taste and he’s worried that he’ll hate the taste and make me think I’m gross, even though he doesn’t think I am gross.

It’s actually a little hurtful that he won’t do it. I’ve talked to him about it and he says he has to just do it and get over it. I’ve come up with suggestions like flavored lube for the taste just to start out with, and he still won’t do it. Is it wrong of me to say no blowjobs until you go down on me?
