Which do you feel more comfortable with, a male doctor or a female doctor doing a pap smears/Ultra sound?

In my opinion male drs are more gentle..j know it makes no sense but from my experience the one and only female I ever seen was so rough she literally had me with tears in my eyes. .then made a sarcastic remark..she held out her skinny finger and said this hurts but yet you are not a virgin.i wanted to punch her in her face

I actually normally feel more comfortable with the male Drs at the office that I go to. The only time I was uncomfortable was a few weeks ago when I had to go to one of the new Drs and I'd never seen him before. I walked passed him in the hallway and he was really young and HOT!! Omg, it was the most uncomfortable thing ever. I've never felt uncomfortable with any of the Drs there until that day, I wanted to run out of there lol. I told my cousin about it and she said "what was his name, I'm asking for him next time and I'm gonna get a Brazilian and go to the tanning bed before I go". I was like " no, you don't wanna have a hot gyno, it's so awkward!!" Lol

My OB is a 79 (ish) year old man from Peru, he's an expert in dealing with PCOS, and I get to practice my Spanish. So it's a win win for me!

I like male doctors more for things like this. I haven't had the best experiences with female doctors and I feel like male Drs are more compassionate with things like Pap smears where as women have been through it before. For some reason Pap smears usually hurt me and I once had a femal doctor tell me I was over reacting and  that it didn't hurt when I was in tears.

I love my OBGYN, and it is a male doctor. Men are more gentle. I also would have bleeding and cramping with the past female doctors I had. They would be too rough down there. But male doctors seem to be more compassionate and understanding. In my experience anyway.

Plenty if men have seen my vagina so I don't care, what's one more. Women though, they know what to expect and I feel like I'd be dropping the ball if they thought it wasn't up to par. Weird I know but that's how my brain works
