Stopped BC, no period still

So I’m 8 months pp. I got my period back around 7 weeks pp and then I started the mini pill around 8 weeks pp. I was told I wouldn’t get a period on it but I might spot. Well I started sported like every other day and was having extreme back pain, so I stopped taking the birth control. I basically was like I’d rather just stop it and get my period for a week than spot every other day & have this terrible back ache.

So I stopped taking the pill a couple of months ago and I still have yet to get my period back. pregnancy test is negative. What’s up? Anyone experience this? I’m still breastfeeding but didn’t think it would matter since I did technically get my period back before I started on birth control.
