Is he too old for me? I'm 24 and he's 33

I'm about to turn 24 in a month. We started out as friends about a year ago and now we are getting closer and he told me he liked me. I like him back but I'm afraid the age difference is too big. Also I might have to move out of state for a job, but I don't know yet. Do you think I should keep this going or break it off?

No... if you think he’s too old for you then don’t do it. If you don’t think he’s too old for you then go for it. I’m 20 and my SO is 35. Some people think it’s too big of a gap but it’s a preference thing. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for it. If he makes you happy then I say go for it

I just turned 27 and my husband turns 36 this year. The only issue with our age gap is that he doesn’t want to be an “old dad” so he doesn’t want any children being born after he turns 40. We are welcoming our first baby in 3 weeks but I want 4 total and obv won’t be able to achieve that unless I pump them out every year, which I don’t want to do. 😆

Honestly I don’t think the age gap is too big at all, you’re both consenting adults so it’s not a controversial issue, but if you personally feel it to be an issue then nobody can really make the choice for you, if you like him then maybe give it a go but if you feel it to be a relationship you could live without then for sure call it off, if you do end up with a job out of town people make long distance work but if you feel that’s something you don’t want to to do then I wouldn’t it’s better to end things now than to end them before they got too serious
