I have an 8 month old son. We’ve been going through a really stressful time, his father just got arrested for abuse and we’ve moved back to my parents house.

I used to smoke but stopped before I got pregnant, and I feel guilty to admit that I’ve had a couple cigarettes since this situation began.

I never do it around him, only outside, and I usually sit outside for a while to let myself “air out” and wash my hands up to my elbows before going back to his room.

I know there is third hand smoke

Are there any other parents who do this? Am I a bad mother?
