Can you get a tattoo or piercing while being pregnant?

Most respectable places won't tattoo or peirce a pregnant woman

I don't see why a piercing would be bad but a tattoo is a no no

Just think about the risk of infection. Really they're both open wounds and I would think your body is more susceptible to germs or at least not as well equipped to fight them since your body is devoting all of its energy to baby.

I would not inflict pain on myself because the baby can feel it

No... I was being tatted... and come to find out I was pregnant and I didn't know... if your pregnant and get tatted it reacts bad with your body and can harm the child aka infections I was checked and had him check as soon as I found out and I quit my tattoo till I deliver him..
