My husband forgets everything and it really gets on my nerves

My husband forgets everything and it really gets on my nerves.

So my husband is a forgetful person sometimes. There are many, many occasions he runs to the store and I ask him to pick up this or that, and he just forgets and gets the things he wants. He doesn’t do this intentionally but just let’s it slip his mind. He will even say text it to me so I don’t forget and then he still forgets 🙄

So today he is working a over a hour away and tell me one of his work buddies wanted to get food with him after work. I’ve been home all day no car because the cars in the shop and basically no food here since I need to go grocery shopping. He told me where they are going and I asked him before he leave if he can get me a to go order (I haven’t eaten all day and it’s 7pm) he said “sure baby”. So now he gets home and I ask him where my food is and he says oh shit I ordered it payed for it but left before picking it up I forgot 🙄 so now we wasted money on nothing.

I’m not mad but annoyed because he forgets so easily when it’s something for me.

Edit- he did just make it up and left and went to a local restaurant and picked me up some of my favorite tacos
