Anyways. I wont go in to how anything happened our how we got to where we are as that doesnt matter. The fact of the matter is, we live together, have one small income, have a whole ton of bills coming up (the car broke, family visited unexpectedly, my glasses broke and i need new ones to drive, have visas to pay, and our lease ends in january have to move out and rent a new place, electric bill is coming up and a roomate of ours has made it incredously high over $1,200+ for a tiny house with 3 people, yet we still have to pay more than half of it even though she did it, plus its his sister so its not like we can take it to court and be like nah, you pay the $800 of electricity you used single handedly, amoung many other expensive things that have popped up) so yeah, we're broke, credit card is practically maxed, our savings is blown. (And its not like we're spending willy nilly, just a lot has all gone coincidentally wrong all at the same time :( )

Anyways. Its our first anniversary we have together, and we're broke :(

Any suggestions on fun things we can do to at least try to make the day special?

I know money doesnt buy happiness and its the attitude that counts and all that jazz. But the world has evolved in to something that now sadly, in a slight way, money plays a part in helping us be happy. And when you have no money and fall on hard times, you're both depressed and have a hard time thinking of anything else except how youll make it to the next paycheck.

So eh yeah, what can we do to make this a good day for both of us?
