Has anyone been involved in the New Age and went to Christ?

I became a Christian last year. This year, I got unknowingly got involved in an occult called the New Age. I thought it was harmless as there people justifying their practice and beliefs with bible verses. All of a sudden, I became severely depressed, anxious and started having more astral projection during sleep paralysis. It was a scary experience. Still, I didn’t think much of it. All of a sudden, I started getting video recommendations of people on youtube explaining their bad experiences with the New Age and when I ready the bible, it would talk about false prophets and idols. I realized that it was evil and have stopped since. I’ve been focusing on God and his words only, but I can’t help but think about how deceived I was and so many people are.
