Have any of you ever cheated on your significant other, married or not? What led you to that and to what extent did you go? Did you end up staying with the person you cheated with?

I cheated on 1 guy when I was 14 the first time. I was very unhappy in my relationship but wasn’t able to leave. My boyfriend would threaten to kill himself and start crying and guilt me. He carved my FULL name into his arm so I fully believed him. I wasn’t allowed to wear skinny jeans or wear makeup. I went to the youth center, a 1 minute walk from my house, and he demanded I go back home so I could talk to him. I wanted to leave for a long time and was trapped. And I was so young I didn’t know what to do. He cheated first (twice) and took a long time to tell me the truth, so I cheated back. Nothing major at first, just made out. And I told him the night before our 1 year anniversary, so he proceeded to get a blow job from the first person he cheated with. And he took months to tell me. After that I didn’t really care. I made out with a few guys and then slept with the first guy I cheated with. I wanted to be with him but couldn’t leave the relationship I was in. I told him everything I did and he broke up with me and called me a whore, then proceeded to call me crying and begging for me back. So I did it. Finally I met a guy I was really interested in. So I started seeing him, never doing more than kissing. Eventually I decided enough was enough. My bf had been suspicious of the guy for a while so one day I told my bf I hung out with the other guys and he asked me what we did and I said “a lot,” again nothing but kissing happened but I needed it to sound worse. He broke up with me and then when he called to get me back I refused. 
I do not condone cheating, it’s still one of my biggest regrets. I was young and trapped and didn’t know what to do. I haven’t cheated on anyone since, and I won’t.

I was 16, my bf was 18. I cheated during summer break. It was a holiday romance. I ended up telling him about it, he was really upset but he forgave me. Do I regret? Not really, I alway wanted to have a small summer romance in a resort.
