My mom has AB- blood and I was a healthy pregnancy and so was my little sister. My blood type is AB+ so I haven’t had to worry with mine (meaning, I don’t have personal advice). I wouldn’t think it works that quickly since I think the baby’s blood develops later in pregnancy. They have a shot for it though that they will give you early on.

They will take your blood around 12 or so weeks and administer rhogam if they need to! Just make sure they know you’re RH.
