my daughter has two different colored eyes. normal?

So my daughter was born May 17, she’s almost 6 weeks old and she had 2 different colored eyes. I’m wondering if anyone else’s child has had that and it actually stayed like that because I love it! I don’t want it to change ! When do you know for sure when your child’s eyes are done changing?

It's called heterochromia. It's usually benign but it sometimes may signal an underlying condition.

My SO and his mom both have heterochromia, only difference is that theirs didn't show up until childhood. It should be fine, maybe just ask your pediatrician to be sure.

This is going to sound a little scientific but it’s called Heterochromia it’s a genetic mutation that causes a person to have two different colored eyes it’s fairly common and in some cases can go away in a few year in other cases your child will just have 2 different colored eyes it’s normal and beautiful and absolutely normal

My cousin has one brown eye with a green dot and the other eye is blue. As for eye color changing 3/4 of my children have brown eyes and they were that way by 9 months. My older two had pure dark brown until 6 years old and they started to turn hazel

How beautiful!! My daughter has a brown spot in her eye, but it didnt show up until about a year old when her eyes first started changing colors. And although her eyes are hazel/green now, she still has that one spot. I hope your baby's eyes stay different colors! So unique and special!

I also have two different colored eyes since birth. It’s just a spontaneous mutation and nothing to worry about. I never had any problems at all.
