Caving to see a specialist!

Since my last son was born I have had periods that are to the T exactly two weeks long. Stopping at CD 14 ovulation day!. In on third month of vitex and it shortened it so I thought but every time I would have sex. Start bleeding and getting clots again and not little ones😒 so it's like my body is refusing to clean out. Other then that my cycles have always been 28 days so at least that's a plus. For chance I cannot conceive another I'm not wasting any time. So I called one of the best doctors that specializes not just in babies but infertility so this is a first for me! I have heard of procedures and chlomid but I don't know what any of this is or what to expect! I have my first app Nov 19 cause they are full on patients!!! Any good advice from these kinda doctors would be nice.😀
