When is he coming .... 😩❤️

I'm 39 weeks and 4 days and no contractions at all. I've had only normal symptoms like back pain, pelvic pain and very sleepy!  This is my first!! When do you guys think I will go into labor or will I have to be induced ?

Usually, the first baby is late. Not all, but most come after due date. Depending on your OB office, they usually won't let you go more than a week and a half to two weeks post due date. Lots of walking, curb walking (one foot on curb, the other off), occupy your time will help. If you don't want to be induced by meds, ask for a sweep of your membranes. That may get things started for you naturally.

With my sisters first she went into labor on her induction date 41wks. I just had my second at 39wks 5 days I had my first at 36wks. So you never know you could go into labor any moment.  You can talk to your OB about induction. My OBs office asks you wether you just want to go one week over or wait till the baby wants to come. Ask your dr if they'll strip your membranes to help labor progress. Especially since you aren't having any contractions.

I was talking with my OB at 10:00am about options when I hadn't gone into labor by my due date (exactly one week from then). My water broke at 2:30 that afternoon and baby was here 3:48 the next morning, I had absolutely no idea it was going to happen. Not one of the many symptoms I'd learned about in my prenatal class. Just hang in there!!
