Using 2 tampons for heavy bleeding

I used plan b and it started my period and I’ve been bleeding extremely heavily not exaggerating at all I soaked through a large tampon AND my pad and ruined my underwear only after ONE HOUR. So I put in 2 tampons together because I dont want bleed through again. is that okay?
