What temperature??

Question

What temperature should I keep the house with a newborn? We have air conditioning so I can control the temperature quite easily! 
We have a week old son, and I feel like he’s too hot a lot of the time, he’s so sweaty.

What is the climate you live in?

We keep ours at 69. Our baby runs warm

We were told the room they sleep in should never go above 75. We live in south Texas where it’s very hot and very humid in the summer, so even with central air and an portable AC unit in her room, that’s sometimes a challenge in her upstairs, SW facing room.

Whatever temperature you are typically comfortable at.  Most people like it between 68-72.  Babies do tend to run warm.  It’s more important though that she not sitting in a drafty area.  :).
In the winter we keep our house around 66-68 and in the summer it never really goes below 72 because we have window ac units.
