Preeclampsia?

So I'm waiting for my doctor to call back but I think I might have preeclampsia.
I'm seeing black spotty flakes in my vision, been having headaches and backache and sometimes stomach pain. What do you think they will do I'm 33 and 4 days.

Thoes can be normal symptoms. I wouldn't freak to much . and if you do have preeclampsia most likely will be admitted and will remain there til delivery

I have gestational hypertension and am being closely monitored to make sure it doesn’t turn into preeclampsia. They’ll probably have you come in to run tests and see what’s going on. I’m currently on modified bedrest, going for appointments twice a week and I’m delivering at 37 weeks, 33.5weeks now. Good luck and glad you called. Preeclampsia is no joke!

Hopefully it is just high blood pressure. Try to get urine checked for protein. I'm dealing with the same thing mine keeps spiking pretty high but goes down so ob doesnt seem to concerned. I did get urine checked back in 1st trimester though.

Could be hypertension. I had that but my bp was also elevated

Those symptoms alone are not indicative of preeclampsia. You need your blood pressure and urine checked. If it comes back problematic they'll order bedrest to keep it down, if it doesn't work and it's still too high and you have other problems like liver issues, they'll need to deliver you. But you could be having these symptoms for other reasons besides preeclampsia.

They will run test. I started seeing floaters last week. Was sent to L&D after going to ob. Blood pressure was 148/94 (higher than my baseline). Had labs and monitoring. Everything turned out good. I was told if spiked over 160/109, I’d have my daughter next week (34 weeks). If stated moderately elevated, I’d be monitored twice a week and deliver 37-39 weeks. Was ordered ultrasound at hospital BPP last Friday. Other happened on Wednesday. Ultrasound results were great and bp settled back down some. So I’m now seen weekly with only being approved at each appointment to continue working. At hospital was told 90% chance he’d put me on bedrest. But he released me another week. Go back tomorrow morning. Do you have a no monitor you could use to check your blood pressure? RN at my work was getting 160/100, 158/98 prior to me arriving 2 minutes down road at ob.
