I had my mirena placed on Friday June 7th. The following Wednesday i started spotting (first pp period) well it turned to a heavy flow for about 5-6days, then turned to a "heavy" kind of spotting. Meaning i needed more than a panty liner. Yesterday i started bleeding heavier, AGAIN. It's like a full on flow. I know spotting can be normal, but 2 period in less than 2.5 weeks? WTF. I should also add that i get sharp twinges, my and my husband are rough in bed and when he goes deep it hurts.

My dr said it was a perfect placement but i can't help but think something is going on and i cannot stand this bleeding every. single. fucking. day. And now another full blown period?

Has anyone had a similar experience and everything been okay? Is this normal?
