I know hottubs aren’t safe for pregnant women, but what about the hot springs?

Depends on how hot they are. Are they bathtub temperature? Or hottub temperature? Bathtub temp is just fine, the issue is raising your core temperature and overheating baby

I went in a hot tub twice in my pregnancy and she’s doing just fine! 
I was told that if you start sweating or feeling nauseous, you need to get out.

My OB told me that if the water turns your skin pink it is too hot.

The reason hot tubs are not ok for pregnant women is because the water is constantly hot and doesnt cool down which will keep you body temp up and your babies as well and hot springs doesnt cool down over the course of being in it either so I would suggest not to

I think a lot of the danger depends on how long you’re in it. So 5-10 minutes in and then 5-10 minutes out to cool off your core temp should be fine. Just alternate being in and out of the springs.
