Is your LO clapping & waving yet?

My LO will be 11 months on the 8th and still isnt clapping or waving. Anyone else on the same boat?

Kind of clapping a little bit, not waving, babbles occasionally but not much. He’s super sociable and giggly but I’m getting really worried. My older child was clapping, waving, and saying mama dada and bye bye by this age.

My baby claps all the time lol. Waving isn't as consistent but we're working on it.

The other morning I came out of the bathroom after getting ready for work and my husband had our son in the high chair. We both locked eyes and he smiled and put his arm out to wave at me and when he saw I started coming towards him, he started clapping all with a huge cheesy grin on his face. Totally made my day

He claps whenever there is clapping on the tv or if someone says “yay”. Now when he falls and cries we just say “yay Henry!” and he stops crying and claps haha. Obviously if he is actually hurt I go to him but most of the time he just scares himself.

My son doesnt wave, clap, point, nod his head, or say any words. He will do it when he is ready :)

She waves goodbye and sometimes hi. She attempts to clap and has for a while but it's more like slapping herself since her hands don't connect 😂. High fives are only if she's in the right mood

I mean to say just wave. She doesn’t clap, just says bye. Each baby is different :)
