Question. I’m currently 38w pregnant with my second child. At my 37 week appointment, my dr tried to check my cervix for the first time to see if I’ve dilated or anything, but for some reason, she couldn’t reach it, but she says she doesn’t believe I’ve dilated or anything yet. In my first pregnancy, my old doctor had no problem reaching my cervix at all. This time around, it couldn’t be reached and my doctor said she usually doesn’t check again unless she thinks I’m in labor. Other than that, she won’t check my cervix again 🙁 is it normal that it couldn’t be reached this time around? Or is it possible that I have dilated or something & that’s why she can’t reach it? My previous pregnancy was a csection if that makes any difference.
