What should I do when my bf is busy at work & I feel like texting him constantly?

I know he’s super busy, he showed me his schedule & he’s working at amazon as an engineer. He basically has meetings all day. I’m trying to tell myself that he’s super busy & can’t text me back. We just sent each other good morning texts today & that’s it. 
I turned off my app notifications so I stop checking but his online status keeps saying he’s online. 
Please help me stay sane? It feels like I’m going to go insane lol.

Get a job yourself. Get a life (I don’t mean in rude way)  Just sounds pretty childish. Surely you can make that time and energy into something productive.

Are you employed? Focus on your own work or get a job. Do something productive like cleaning, exercising, cooking, etc. Your life shouldn't revolve around your significant other or you risk losing sight of who you are as an individual.

My boyfriend gets pretty busy at work and I work as well, but if I feel like texting him or telling him something I’ll just text it and let him text me back whenever he has a break. I know he’s busy and him and I both know I don’t expect an immediate text back when he’s working or busy. Others than that when he’s not texting me and I’m home bored or not at work I’ll watch Netflix or clean haha. I don’t have any hobbies but maybe try to find a hobby.

Put your phone away. Leave your ringer on Incase someone calls or texts and just sit it where it’s not near you. Clean your house/room, go for a walk or jog, hang out with a friend, go to the library, go shopping, read a book, sit outside and take in the nice weather, organize your closet, practice different makeup looks if you’re into that, watch a movie, play a game, pick up a new craft such as sewing, crocheting, knitting, or making little crafts with things from Walmart and the dollar tree. Start a scrapbook. There’s a lot of things you can do that helps you stay busy throughout the day, even if you don’t have a bunch of friends that can hang out all the time. 😊
