Back pain shooting into leg

I wasn’t sure where to post this, but I’ve been having some pain across my lower back that’s been shooting into my leg recently and I don’t know what to do. I told my mom about the pain in my back but not my leg and she yelled at me last time I mentioned it. Please help I’m only 14.
