Hi everyone. I’m new to this group. I have A1C of 6.7 and my husband and I are trying to conceive. My doctor cleared me with 6.7 but is worried about my blood sugar. I am between 130-160 fasting blood sugar in the morning. And about 160 after I eat. Im trying to watch what I eat. My doc upped my Metformin from 1000mg to 2000mg a day to control my blood sugar until I get pregnant. Has anyone had any similar experience with their blood sugar and know how to control it? Has anyone gotten pregnant with a similar case? I’m really nervous because all this is new to me and I’m really nervous about potentially having to be on insulin during pregnancy..
