I am 13w1d today (first pregnancy)

and just posted on social media. Family and close friends already knew, but putting it out there for everyone to know got me emotional. I am a NICU nurse and see so much of the crazy things that happen. I know I should always think positive, but it's scary. Just being honest. Everything has gone great so far. So trying to remain positive and enjoy the pregnancy! Whatever happens, happens and I'll have lots of people for support either way. I opted to do nuchal translucency ultrasound and that went great. Did labwork and it should be back in 2 weeks along with the gender! We definitely are excited.

Btw I feel like it's a boy!
