NT scan ? Worried & Scared

So I have to have the NT scam I think that’s what it’s called. They are checking the thickness of the back of the babies skull and checking the nasal cavity. How worried should I be? Can someone explain it to me?

Not worried at all! It's a screening test. Keep in mind, it is a measurement, performed by a technician. Just like our ultrasounds, measurements can vary by user. My first NT, I was 26 and had measurements that made the doctors certain I was dealing with a trisomy, they did not. My last one, at 39 was completely normal and blood work came back fine. You can do the NIPT, which will give you more conclusive information and with the NT, a bigger picture.
