I need help

Ok so I really like this guy but my bestie likes him to and she said we should both ignore him I said ok cause I didn’t want to make her upset but I don’t want to but the only way I can see him is going to her house cause he doesn’t go to my school but what should I do my bestie or the boy I mean she has a valid point because of what happened last time I just don’t know so please help
