Basically do you think if you are in a relationship & even though you still love that person, you will never be where you all once were?
Could be from such a dramatic decline in the relationship...sorry if it’s confusing

If my partner cheated or hit me I wouldn't be able to continue in the relationship.

If I handed you a glass plate and told you to drop it on the floor it will shatter. But if I handed you a bottle of glue afterwards and told you to fix it more than likely you will be able to put the plate back together almost completely the problem is all the cracks in the glass along with a few chips will still be visible. What I’m trying to say is you can try to fix it as much as possible but the imperfections from the break will always be there

My husband and I have both done things in our marriage to each other that
Others would consider a point if no return. We even at that time considered it that way also, but if you really love that person and want to be with them you can make it work and be happy. One poster said think of the relationship as a glass plate, you brake the glass and glue it back together but that glue could be making that plate stronger than ever. It all depends on how bad you want to make things work. I don’t agree with toxic relationships but I do think people can change and learn. Idk the situation your in so you just really need to think about your choice.
