Should I bring up Marriage or not

I have been with my baby father for 3 years. However, we have known each other for 17 years.. we kept in contact with each other despite the long distance. 3 years ago we started a relationship and now we have a beautiful baby boy. Most of his family will ask when are we getting married and he pushes it aside or be like we are not worrying about that. I am not eager to get married for I was before and that lasted only 9 months. I would love to be married to my sons dad..but not now maybe in 5 years or so. I don't think he wants to be married for he was never married or engage to any of his previous ex's. Should I bring it up or let things be. We have a good relationship only thing is that he doesn't like to be affection. He is more of an action guy.
