I’m half white (my dad) and half Mexican (my mom) and I ended up with my moms hair. I love my hair but I’ve always been self conscious of my edges. I used to cut and shave them when I was little because I felt it was bad thing (none of my friends had them). I’ve learned to love my hair after many years of being told that straight hair was the only beautiful hair and now I want to style them.

So what I’m asking is, would it be inappropriate to style them since I’m half white? I’ve seen a lot of people get pissed over girls doing them if they weren’t Latina or black.
