Are you still with your first love?

I recently entered my first relationship with someone who is, quite literally, the man of my dreams. However, I do have a lot of anxieties surrounding the future and with the amount of negativity surrounding relationship patterns I tend to shy away from them but I couldn’t say no to the prospect of being with him. I just wanna know that love is can survive and maybe things won’t be short term. 🥺🥺🥺🥺 what can I say, I’m baby.

Honestly, as sappy as it sounds... there’s a reason I married my husband. I don’t think I actually ever loved anyone else.
I only been in a relationship with 3 men, my husband included. 
I thought I did love my cheating ex-fiancé but I was never really that bothered about actually tying-the-knot with him and wasn’t upset when I dumped him after I found out he was a cheat and had given away my pets while I was looking after my elderly, disabled mum during her cancer treatments. 
Compared to what I actually FEEL for my husband, no I don’t think I ever really loved him, I just thought I did because I was young and didn’t know the difference. Of course now I know what a scumbag he is, I’m glad I didn’t marry him.
The boyfriend between the cheating rat and my now-husband, again I didn’t love, but then again, we were only together a few months and I hardly ever saw him. It just fizzled out by itself and again, I wasn’t sad.
So, yeah I think I can say I am with my first (real) love

My first boyfriend was my first love. I was so scared to start dating cause I was 18 at the time and people RARELY stay with their first partner. We were together for a year, and this was his 3rd relationship. I told him how scared I was cause this was my first and I just knew it wasn't gonna last cause the odds were against us. Well even though we talked about our futures together and kids and blah blah in the end it just didn't work out. My husband and I met when we were 13 & 15, basically babies. We grew up together and were each other’s best friend throughout. We even did 2 years long distance when he went to college ( in Boston, we’re from Los Angeles). That was probably the most difficult time. Other than that we established a great friendship and it worked out for us. 15 years later we’re married and expecting our first baby!! Good luck!!! Keep loving, cheering, and making each other laugh!

Looking back now, my ex’s were definitely not my first loves. What I have in my relationship now is LOVE. I definitely did not feel what I do now for my ex’s, so no I don’t.

Abbbbbbsolutely not lol. I’ve had a lot of “loves” but my first real, true, deep love was emotionally abusive. He had me strung along for two and a half years. I was torn to pieces at the end of it because no matter how much I loved him he played with every emotion i had. I’m so glad I got out of that and am now with someone who loves and respects me and I love him more than I can put into words.

That's a difficult question, I'm happily married to the man I know who is my soul mate. Who is literally meant for me. And although I love him to death, and in a way I've never loved before I wouldn't say he was my first love. 
My first love was back when I was 16, and that's honestly the first time I've felt "love" but we just weren't meant for each other in the long run. And I'm honestly thankful that I can consider him as my first love, because he that relationship in general taught me a lot. And without that I probably wouldn't be in the great relationship I'm in today if that makes sense?
