Breast feeding and breast pump ?

Can you do both ? Without getting an infection, because I want to Breast feed when im at home and want to be able to pump maybe once a day so he can’t experience feeding her and when we are out I can use the bottles also
My sister in law told me she got an infection because she wasn’t doing it consistently and wanted to know your experience if you have done both and the right way to do it

An infection? Most women who have to return to work do both. Just make sure you’re either nursing or pumping when baby would eat  most likely every 3 hours.

I know so many woman who did both and it worked great! I’ll be going both because I want to go back to work and I’ll need to pump. You’ll be fine!

If you get an infection, it won’t be from this. I had 3 and it had nothing to do with breastfeeding and pumping (which I had to do because I work). Just make sure you don’t cultivate and oversupply by pumping too often.
